Massey's Pizza Westerville at 399 South State Street, Westerville, Ohio.

A Westerville icon, this pizza restaurant has been in this location for at least thirty years..... and..... in this town, that is one hell of an accomplishment! So..... here is what's right about Massey's Pizza Westerville; It is located on the main drag running north and south in what is the 17th largest city in the entire state (Ohio is the 7th most populous state), sooooo, it's location is a huge benefit in its success.... without a doubt! Historically, this location has always had pleasant and attentive staff that recognize you when you come in, many times by name and even your food ordering preferences.... pretty impressive I'd say! As I never mention names in my reviews, I will say that there number one employee is a shorter, dark haired, latin male whom in my humble opinion is WITHOUT EVEN THE SLIGHTEST DOUBT, not only hands down the finest employee of Massey's Westerville... but amongst the best employees a place could ever hope to have working for them. Truly an indespensible asset to this establishment, please take a bow my good man, you deserve it and I am very thankful for great service, attitude and work prowess.... Keep it up man!!! The restaraunt is clean and well attended and the food although somewhat inconsistent (ONLY LATELY, past two years I'd say) is really good, I'd in fact, put a flawlesly done Massey's pie against any in town, truly a Columbus style pizza at its finest! Very, very safe and ample close parking with handicapped spots close.
Here are its cons; The owner is not always so pleasant.... It may not be the owner that I am speaking of, if not I apologize here.... But, this man is short tempered and not very personable. I have heard him speaking to his employees rudely at times too, this is unforgivable and his actions/attitude along with the recent inconsistencies in the kitchen, knocked off two points of this otherwise five star review.... A few years back this was handily a 5 star review sooooo.... C'mon folks, let's get it together again.... You can do it!!! Lastly and of great import.... I believe the prices here are really exorbitant! A serious portion of our local population is ABSOLUTELY excluded from eating here due to your drastically overpriced menu, again.... FIX IT AND YOU WILL BENEFIT GREATLY!!!
